Public DNS servers

This is a collection of free and fast Anycast DNS Public resolvers (nameservers) that are available and well tested. DNS servers that are not on Anycast (e.g.: Yandex) are not included.

Divided into 3 categories based on what they offer (unfiltered, “secure” dns and “family” dns), this list includes their IPv4, IPv6, DNS over TLS and DNS over HTTPS connection information. 

  • Unfiltered DNS: They do not modify your requests.

  • IPv4 Filtered DNS – Blocks malicious and phishing domains
    • Quad9: (preferred + enforces DNSSEC)

    • CleanBrowsing: (enforces DNSSEC)
